Counselling, Supervision and Consultancy Services
Healing Minds

We offer a confidential, safe and caring environment where you can explore aspects of yourself that are sometimes even too painful to share with your nearest relationships. We provide a safe space where you can explore your past or present along with your hopes and aspirations for the future.

As human beings we often restrict ourselves from living life as we would truly like.

At Healing Minds we explore your behaviour patterns both past and present and how you might be preventing yourself from living a more comfortable and enriching life.

We are experienced, *Integrative* Counsellors working with the uniqueness of each individual, whilst drawing from the theoretical concepts of Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Gestalt Theories and NLP techniques. We believe that each client benefits from a therapeutic approach which is tailored for their needs.

We aim to offer a warm, collaborative, non-judgmental, caring relationship whilst striving to empower you to consider beneficial change and/or off-load challenging and uncomfortable thoughts and feelings. As counsellors our task is to create and sustain a trusting relationship where difficult and distressing feelings can be shared and more effective means of coping can be found.

It is through self-awareness that real life changes can begin to evolve and have a long lasting influence on your life.

*As counsellors we work in an Integrative way which is our deliberate choice, as fundamentally it draws together several distinct models of counselling and psychotherapy which are used together in a converging way rather than in separate pieces.

We believe this to be beneficial to clients as it offers a holistic approach which we have found to embrace the individuality of each person.

However, often clients will come to us for a specific therapy  that they have either been advised to embark on (often GP referral) or they may have a general interest in a particular model of theory and in that instance we would of course follow that model of choice.
